Poha Cutlet Recipe – Tea Time Snack – Video

Poha Cutlet is fried tea time breakfast snack made with combination of Chidwa, Potato and Bread pieces. Wrap is inside bread slice to eat as Sandwich.

Poha Cutlet is definitely an addictive and tempting tea time snack. I normally get requests for making it whenever it rains with a sip of hot Ginger tea. They are crispy and good in filling up your stomach. We make them with a mixture of Potato and Poha also known as Chiwda or Beaten Rice.

  Instructions

  • Wash the Beaten Rice under fresh running water and keep aside in a sieve.
  • Grate the boiled Potatoes and add to Poha. Tear off bread slices on top of it.
  • Squeeze the Lemon Juice. Add finely chopped Green Chilies, Salt and Red Chili Powder.
  • Now mix all the ingredients with the help of your hand or a spatula.
  • Mixture for making cutlet is ready.
  • Take small amount of mixture on your palm and roll it to make an oval shape cutlet. You can give it any shape as you like.
  • Heat Oil in a pan on high flame.
  • Now add raw cutlet in hot Oil and deep fry them from both the sides until they turn golden brown in color.
  • Once they achieve golden brown color from both the sides, take them out of the pan.
  • Poha cutlet is ready. Serve them hot with Green Coriander Sauce or Tomato Sauce.

      hi ,do u tried with this active yeast..plz tell me amount..its second tym n its nt fermented n one more thing anil n maahi i want to see some biryani n pulaav recipie .i didnt see any rice prepration in ur channel.will be thankful bcoz your recipies never fail almost tried everything except this atta bread n palak paneer. love

        I am not able to make out in which recipe you are using active yeast..please write again with the recipe name..
        Poha cutlet recipe does not require any yeast.

        As far as bread recipes are concerned i have used ACTIVE DRY YEAST only.
        I will be more than happy to help, please write again with the recipe name.
