  • The whole process is pretty simple and can be summarized as roasting the Masala and softening the Bhindi. Here are the elaborate steps for you.
  • Chop Bhindi into pieces. You can chop in any shape you like. The common options are simple round cylindrical or sliced into 2 long pieces. We have chosen the cyndrical one.
  • Let us start with adding Oil in a pan. Heat it on high flame for 30 seconds.
  • Once done, add Cumin seeds and Asafoetida. Let it cook for another 30 seconds on high flame.
  • Now add chopped Bhindi and Green chilies optional. Mix well.
  • Cook it on high flame for 2 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • After 2 minutes, turn the stove to medium flame. Add Salt, Turmeric Powder, Mango Powder, Coriander Powder and Red Chili Powder. Mix well.
  • Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 10 minutes on medium flame.
  • After 10 minutes, turn off the stove.
