These are generally made on festivals in India and are used as a prasad in festival pooja. You would have seen your mom making them on the occasion of Diwali. They are quite famous in North India.
Me and my family simple love them. They are easy to make and fit for your stomach as they are made from wheat flour. They can also be made using maida, just replace wheat flour with maida in this recipe.
