Amla Sabzi is a unique way of consuming Amla. Amla needs no introduction for its goodness. It is pretty useful for having strong and glowing hair as well as eyes. But it is a bit difficult to eat it raw due to its extreme sourness.
Hence, we have found a way of cooking it as a Amla sabzi and then eating everyday with meal.

This video is about sharing how we can cook Amla a bit so that it can easily be eaten everyday without any extra efforts from our inner self!!

Once made, it can easily be preserved upto 3-4 days by refrigerating. So, what are you waiting for...take a step towards health and start eating an Amla a day.

  Instructions


  • Heat Oil in a pan on high flame.
  • Once it is hot, add Cumin Seeds and fry until they turn golden brown.
  • Once Cumin is done, Add Amla, Turmeric and Salt. Mix well.
  • Add 1/4 Cup (Our 1 Cup = 240 ML) water. Mix well again and then cover it with lid. Turn the stove on low flame.
  • They will take approx. 10-12 minute to soften. Stir occasionally to avoid burns.
  • After 10 min., pinch them with the help of spatula to check their softness. If they are hard, let them cook for 2 more minute.
  • Once they have softened, add Red Chili Powder and Turmeric Powder. Turn stove on high flame.
  • Stir continuously until all water evaporates.
  • Once Water has evaporated, switch off the stove.
  • Amla Sabzi is ready. You can enjoy these Amla for 3-4 days. Store them in refrigerator.
