Aloo Halwa Recipe – Dessert made of Potato – Video

Aloo halwa is a high calorie fried Indian dessert. Boiled potato are mashed and roasted in desi ghee until they turn golden brown. Served in main course.

  • 500 Gms Potato (Boiled)
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Oil (Desi ghee or Pure Ghee)
  1. Start the process by grating Potatoes.
  2. Take a pan and Desi Ghee. Switch on the stove on high flame.
  3. Once ghee is hot, add potatoes. Turn the stove to medium flame. Stir Occasionally to avoid burning.
  4. Cook until it becomes light golden brown.
  5. After about 35 min., the potatoes turn light golden brown. Add sugar and mix well.
  6. Turn the stove to ow flame and stir until all the sugar is dissolved.
  7. Once done, Aloo halwa is ready to serve.
