Aloo Halwa Recipe – Dessert made of Potato – Video
Aloo halwa is a high calorie fried Indian dessert. Boiled potato are mashed and roasted in desi ghee until they turn golden brown. Served in main course.
- 500 Gms Potato (Boiled)
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Oil (Desi ghee or Pure Ghee)
- Start the process by grating Potatoes.
- Take a pan and Desi Ghee. Switch on the stove on high flame.
- Once ghee is hot, add potatoes. Turn the stove to medium flame. Stir Occasionally to avoid burning.
- Cook until it becomes light golden brown.
- After about 35 min., the potatoes turn light golden brown. Add sugar and mix well.
- Turn the stove to ow flame and stir until all the sugar is dissolved.
- Once done, Aloo halwa is ready to serve.
