Vegetable Chowmin Recipe If you love Chinese then here is an easy way to make the famous Chowmein (as we call it in India ) at home. It is pretty simple and i have made it with bare minimum ingredients which are easily available at your home if you love Chinese food…else they are easily available in any grocery shop.
Ingredient Metric US Imperial Instructions Start the process by chopping the Cabbage and Onion. Do keep in mind that we need to finely chop them as finely as possible. Finely chop Capsicum after removing its white portion which is present inside. Chop Green Chili. Now start with boiling the noodles. Take a pan and fill it with 75% water. Add noodles and let it cook on medium flame until they turn soft. You can check the softness by your hand. Make sure they are not too soft otherwise noodles will not taste good. Switch off the gas and rinse its water. Run through the noodles in running water to cool them off. This will help them not to stick to each other. Keep it aside for drying and start with cooking vegetables. Take a big pan, add oil and heat on high flame. Add Onions and fry them for 1 minute. Do NOT need to wait until onion is golden brown. Add Capsicum, Cabbage and Green chili and cook until the cabbage turns light golden in color. Add Ajinomotto and salt. Mix well. Add dried noodles and mix well in such a way that the noodle threads do not break. If you are ready to eat the noodles just after cooking then and Soya Sauce, Vinegar and Green Chili Sauce as well. Mix well. Vegetable Chow mein is ready to serve. Hope you enjoy chow mein and share your thoughts with us. Thanks Storage and Serving Suggestions
