Paneer Pakora is favored snack for vegetarians. They proudly compare it with the non-vegetarians chicken tikka. Paneer pakoda is my favorite too.

Paneer Pakora Recipe – Tea Time Fried Snack – Video

Paneer Pakora is favored snack for vegetarians. They proudly compare it with the non-vegetarians chicken tikka. Paneer pakoda is my favorite too.

  • 200 Gm Paneer (Cut 4 slices)
  • 1 Cup Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Chat Masala
  • 3 Pinch Garam Masala
  • 1/4 Tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 Cup Water (Or enough water to make smooth paste of Besan mixure)
  1. Add Gram Flour in a big bowl. Now add Garam masala, Red Chili Powder and Salt. Mix well.
  2. Now add water gradually to make a smooth paste.
  3. We are ready with Gram flour mixture. Mixture should have dropping consistency. Make sure mixture does not have lumps.
  4. Take a slice of a Paneer and mark a cut at the center. Leave a small portion uncut at the end of one corner. Do not separate it into two separate pieces.
  5. Now spread the Chat Masala inside the Paneer slice. The same way prepare the all other 4 pieces.
  6. Add enough Oil for frying in a pan and heat it on high flame.
  7. Now dip the Paneer slice in Gram flour mixture.
  8. Add it to the hot Oil and fry until it gets golden brown in color from all sides.
  9. Once they are done from the bottom, flip them.
  10. Once they have achieved golden brown color, switch off the stove and take them out from the pan.
  11. Paneer Pakoras are ready to enjoy with Sauce and Tea. Garnish them with Chat Masala and serve hot. Enjoy!!!
