Chop Bhindi into pieces. You can chop in any shape you like. The common options are simple round cylindrical or sliced into 2 long pieces. We have chosen the cyndrical one. Let us start with adding Oil in a pan. Heat it on high flame for 30 seconds. Once done, add Cumin seeds and Asafoetida. Let it cook for another 30 seconds on high flame. Now add chopped Bhindi and Green chilies optional. Mix well. Cook it on high flame for 2 minutes. Stir occasionally. After 2 minutes, turn the stove to medium flame. Add Salt, Turmeric Powder, Mango Powder, Coriander Powder and Red Chili Powder. Mix well. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 10 minutes on medium flame.
