Chocolate Chip Muffin Recipe – Video

Chocolate Chip Muffin are one of my favorite tea time snack. I am trying to create the soft and silky muffins which just melt in your mouth with simple bite.

  • 3/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 60 Gms Butter Unsalted
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 Tsp Curd (Yogurt) (Unsweetened)
  • 3/4 Cup Chocolate Chips (Any size you like)
  • 1/2 Cup Powder Sugar
  • 1 Number Eggs
  • 2 Tsp Brown Sugar (Light Brown)
  1. Start with melting the Butter. Keep it in Microwave for 30 seconds and it will melt.
  2. Once Butter melts, take out the bowl. Add Brown sugar and powder sugar. Blend it well with mixer.
  3. Now add Egg and Baking powder. Blend it again.
  4. Add 1/2 of our total Refined Flour and blend once again.
  5. Now, add curd and left over refined wheat flour. Blend it once again to make a smooth paste.
  6. Now add choco chips. Save about 1/4 cup of Choco Chips for later.
  7. Mix well and our Muffin mixture is ready.
  8. To set up baking, let us pre-heat the Oven at 375 F (190 C) for 3 minutes. You can also use Microwave Convection in place of Oven.
  9. Grease the baking cups using 1/4 tsp of Butter. This will help in providing a non sticky layer for the muffin base.
  10. Fill these baking cups with Muffin mixture. The cup should be 1/2 filled and 1/2 empty.
  11. Now, sprinkle the left over Choco Chips on top of the Muffin Mixture. These choco chips will enhance the look and feel of the final product.
  12. Oven has already been pre-heated for 3 minutes by now. Keep the Muffin cups for baking. Let them bake for 25 minutes.
  13. After 25 minutes, Switch Off the Oven. Take out the baking tray/cups.
  14. Its difficult to wait now but, we need to give them time to cool down a bit for 10 minutes.
  15. After 10 minutes, use a spoon or a knife to dig the baking cup’s corners with soft hands(as shown in the video).
  16. The Muffin would already be separated from the baking cup walls as we applied butter. Use soft hands and it will come out pretty easily.
  17. You should also try and share it with your friends.

I hope friends you will try this recipe and enjoy.
