Interval exercising

Have you noticed that you work really hard to lose fat, busting out hours of effort in the gym but never seem to get any real results? Running, jogging or working out hard for long hours in gym with an aim to see the weight machine numbers dipping is not unusual sight. But how many people have you seen who actually have reduced really fast and effectively jogging for hours daily?

Well, this may sound a bit weird but the truth is that you can burn 9 times more fat than that hour of aerobic exercise you are told to do 5 times a week by your gym instructor.

Sounds interesting? Here is a way to do cardio training that is far more effective for fat loss.

Intervals are the king of fat burning cardio workouts. Intervals are simply exercising with short bursts of effort with periods of rest between them.
  1. Warm up on a treadmill for 5 minutes.
  2. Start a 2 minute period of intensive effort. if you are using treadmill, use the inclination feature to intensify your running efforts.
  3. Then return to a low intensity to recover for 1 minutes.
  4. Then repeat the steps 2 and 3 for five times.
  5. The total work out would only take total of 20 minutes and I bet you will loose more fat than you would by doing simple jogging/cardio for 45 minutes.
If fat loss is your goal… do NOT go jogging! Do intervals. Replace these 20 minute sessions with your daily cardio schedules and you would see the difference you make to your weight within a week along with saving the precious time.

And yes, don't spend the saved time eating more food :)
