Pasta Arabiata Recipe:


Ingredients:
  1. Penne pasta (boiled and set aside)
  2. Olive oil
  3. Chopped garlic
  4. Broccoli
  5. Red and yellow bell peppers
  6. Zucchini
  7. Dried oregano
  8. Chilli flakes
  9. Grated Parmesan cheese
  10. Chopped basil leaves
  11. A pinch of sugar
  12. Salt
  13. Black pepper
  14. Red sauce (Chopped tomatoes and tomato puree)

  15. Preparation
    1. Heat olive oil in a pan with minced garlic and chopped onions.
    2. Add the vegetables and saute for a minute or so.
    3. Add salt and black pepper.
    4. Add dried oregano and chilli flakes and saute some more.
    5. Now add red sauce and mix well over a high flame. Do not overcook the vegetables.
    6. Add some more salt, sugar, oregano and black pepper.
    7. Toss in the pasta and stir continuously.
    8. Mix well and add Parmesan cheese, and freshly chopped basil leaves.
    9. Mix well on a high flame.
    10. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese and basil leaves.
    11. Serve hot with garlic bread.
